We are all too familiar with Disney cartoons, so everyone will know right away when it comes to Alice, a girl lost in wonderland. Coming to Spicy Horse, a Chinese studio developer came up with an anime adaptation of the movie, but it was a bit more creepy than Alice: Madness Returns. The game is full of psychedelic eccentricity with extremely thrilling adventure activities. Released by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems. The game revolves around the character Alice Liddell, a girl traumatized by the death of her family trying to find her past to escaping from trauma and accidentally straying into the wonderland, where an evil force is possessed. Alice: Madness Returns is played from a third-person perspective. Players will control the character Alice to run, dodge or attack. In addition to the other weapons, her main weapon is the Vorpal blade, a kitchen knife. By collecting teeth that have been dropped or found at levels, players can upgrade these items to more powerful versions. Completing quests on all levels will help players uncover the secrets of Alice’s memories.

- Some of the memories, when you get a sneak peek of life in the Liddell family and realize that Alice had a stable, loving home and family. Keyword is had, and it's kind of sad when you remember what happens next... Downer Ending much?
- The ending of the game. YMMV on this, but seeing the once-decrepit, dark and dirty London brightly lit with a blue sky, with colourful mushrooms growing out of the cobblestones and objects from Wonderland... This troper finds that ending very heartwarming, now that Alice can view the world in a happier light.
- Alternatively, the whole ordeal has driven her back into insanity, and while her mental 'safe space' has been restored somewhat, she may never fully recover.
- Another interpretation is that - based on Bumby's reaction when Alice shifted into her Wonderland dress - her connection to Wonderland might be real, to some extent, and she now exists in both worlds.
- Regardless of the interpretation of Londerland, it's clear that Alice HAS found peace, to some extent. In post-game events (see 'Alice: Otherlands'), she has clearly become mentally stable enough to hold down a job, and simultaneously mentally adept enough to explore other people's minds. The end of Madness Returns is the beginning of a new life.

- Very minor, but there are the two bobbies who Alice meets before slipping into the Cardbridge level. In the Wretched Hive that is Victorian London, a few Dirty Cops are downright expected, but the officers are shown to be nothing but friendly, respectful and sympathetic to poor Alice.'Tsk, tsk. A menace to herself, but no danger to others, surely. She don't belong in gaol.'
- Not to mention one of them in particular mentally cheers on Alice when she calls out Jack Splatter on his tendencies.
'She screams 'You misrable cur! You leech! You maggot! Living off of another's labor!' et cetera, et cetera. I'm admiring her line of inquiry...' - Nan Sharpe. Considering that everything and everyone in Victorian London is corrupted and disgusting, Nan Sharpe is the only one that is nothing but friendly and helpful to Alice without wanting anything in return. It's even more telling that she - in contrast to the two doctors, the lawyer and the nurse who do nothing but use and betray her - has become a whore.
- Alice and Cheshire's relationship. He's the only stable thing in Alice's life that she can actually count on. As much as they gripe at each other it's pretty obvious that he's the closest thing to a best friend she has and he is always around when Alice needs him.
